Washington Education Innovation Forum featuring Tony Bryk and Jane Muhich of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching

When
Thursday, March 20, 2014

Our March 20th Washington Education Innovation Forum will feature Tony Bryk and Jane Muhich of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. President Tony Bryk is leading the work on transforming educational research and development, and more closely joining researchers and practitioners to improve teaching and learning. Jane Muhich is Senior Associate for Productive Persistence. She brings a wealth of experience from her time as Director of Learning Support Initiatives at Seattle Central Community College, where she developed, implemented, and analyzed student data for the college's Achieving the Dream student success initiatives.

The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching brings together scholars, practitioners, and designers in new ways to solve problems of educational practice. Toward this end, they work to integrate the discipline of improvement science into education with the goal of building the field's capacity to improve.

Please join us to discuss the innovative work of the Carnegie Foundation and to hear about their efforts in Washington State.

Event is by invite only. If you have any questions please e-mail Rosa Pazhouh.
