In his new book, Richard Whitmire examines the rise of Rocketship, a leading charter school network that has become a model for blended learning across the country, and explores the factors that make it and other charter schools successful. He also delves into how high-performing charter schools are attempting to reach more students currently attending underperforming schools.
About the author: Richard Whitmire is a veteran newspaper reporter and former editorial writer at USA Today and has spent much of his time reporting on education issues. Whitmire also served as the past president of the National Education Writers Association.
