The Center on Reinventing Public Education based at the Mary Lou Fulton College at Arizona State University is seeking interviews with families who have used state-funded private education choice programs (e.g., education scholarship or savings accounts, tax credit scholarships, etc.) to support the education of a child with a disability.
Interviews will last around 40 minutes and will focus on the factors that led families to turn to private education choice, what opportunities they were able to secure with it, and what obstacles they encountered that limited their success. Participants will receive a $40 gift card after the interview as a thank you for sharing their experience.
We will use the information we learn from families to write a research report summarizing their experiences. No personal details (name, child’s name, or providers) will be identified in any written products from the research. You can learn more about the project here. If you have any questions about the study or your eligibility, please contact principal investigator Dr. Ashley Jochim at ashley.jochim@asu.edu.
