Education Research Consultant

Background
Shauna Campbell is a consultant at the Center on Reinventing Public Education. Her work at CRPE has focused on math teaching and learning, particularly changes in the math education landscape post-pandemic. Her areas of expertise include curriculum materials, policy implementation, standards alignment, gifted education, and teacher pedagogical content knowledge. Her research is informed by her nine years as a math and science teacher. She began her teaching career in the School District of Philadelphia and also taught at a private, independent school for gifted students. Her experience as a classroom teacher drives her passion for research that centers practitioners and students. She holds a B.A. from Harvard University, an M.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California.
