Crystal Morales Coto is the Special Assistant to CRPE Director Robin Lake. Crystal has worked in education for two decades. She started at Student Achievement Partners, supporting the founders of the Common Core State Standards and directing the Core Advocates program, then shifted to communications roles at Bennington College and the College Board. From 2018-2021 she served as chief of staff/director of special projects for the Advanced Placement (AP) Program. She’s been an adjunct writing professor at Queens College and New York University. Crystal holds an MFA in Creative Writing from NYU and a BA in Education/Literature from Bennington College.
