Bradley Portin, DPhil (Oxon), is Professor and Dean Emeritus at the School of Educational Studies at the University of Washington, Bothell, and was formerly faculty and area chair in the College of Education at the University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Portin, a former public school principal, has spent the last two decades examining the evolving roles of school principals, teacher leaders, and how school and district leadership is developing to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
