Dana Harrison is a Senior Research Analyst at the Center on Reinventing Public Education, where she applies her background as an educator, researcher, and policy leader to strengthen the use of evidence in driving transformational change in education. Her work focuses on designing and conducting mixed-methods studies, translating complex findings into actionable insights, and helping education systems integrate research into practice. Before joining CRPE, Dana was a Managing Consultant at Mathematica, where she advanced data-informed decision making and helped bridge gaps between research and practice in schools and districts nationwide. She also served as Division Director for K–12 & Postsecondary at the City of Seattle’s Department of Education and Early Learning, overseeing major public investments in student success. Dana holds a BA with Honors in History and Political Science from the University of Washington and an MA in Teaching and Education from Johns Hopkins University.
