Research Assistant

Background

Heather Casimere is a research assistant at the Center on Reinventing Public Education. Heather actively engages in data collection and analysis, writes blogs and issue briefs, and engages in cultivating spaces of community. Prior to joining CRPE, Heather established her career in higher education at Columbia, Stanford, and Seattle universities. A passionate creator of wellness resources serving communities of color, Heather published Brave. Warrior. Free. in 2019, and founded Brave. Warrior. Free. Art., a resource for encountering the intersections between wellness, spirituality, and art. She holds a B.A. in English (creative writing) from San Francisco State University and an M.A. in theology and culture from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology.
