Lavonzell Nicholson is the Director of Strategic Operations at CRPE, where she brings two decades of experience managing businesses, people, and projects.
Lavonzell previously served as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Taylor Center for Social Innovation and Design Thinking, where she supported strategic planning, development, and implementation of the Center’s operational goals.
She has served as a board member of the La. Department of Economic Development Small Business Advisory Council, Laureus Sports for Good planning committee, Greater New Orleans, Inc.’s NextGen Council, and Communities in Schools. Lavonzell has received recognition as one of Gambit’s “40 Under 40”, New Orleans Magazine’s People to Watch, and City Business Woman of the Year nominee.
Her educational background includes a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Maryland as well as a Graduate Business studies at Johns Hopkins University.
